March 1, 2016 - USA

Kingsport, TN—March 1, 2016--Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE:EMN), the world’s leading producer of professional window films for automotive, residential and commercial markets, presented national and regional dealer awards at its annual Elite Dealer Conference, held in Palm Springs, California, February 25--28, 2016.

Top dealers converge annually during the Elite Dealer Conference for educational and networking opportunities. This year’s conference, themed, “Winning as One: Shaping the Future,” was well-attended by elite dealers from across the nation. Dealers participated in seminars and training and shared experiences with one another. Eastman also recognized dealer achievements in 2015 during the awards dinner.

2015 National Dealer of the Year Award

The Tint Pros, Huntington Beach, CA received the 2015 National Dealer of the Year Award. The father and son owners, Lonnie and Greg Earl, graciously accepted the award during the celebration. The Tint Pros received the recognition out of hundreds of dealers based on dealer loyalty, growth and use of Eastman’s exclusive FormulaOne® High Performance Auto Tint sales and marketing programs. They are also a Vista™ window film dealer.

Lonnie Earl started his business in 1979 on a shoestring. While working full time he began tinting vehicles part time because of his passion for cars. He eventually shifted to tinting cars full time. He raised his family as he grew his business. His son, Greg, grew up learning how to install film. Now Greg has helped take the business to the next level, focusing on marketing strategy and growth. Their hard work and perseverance has led to their expansion including opening a second FormulaOne shop in Newport Beach in 2014.

“The Tint Pros come through as an outstanding partner,” said Darrell Reed, commercial director, North America. “Year after year Lonnie and Greg have shown that attention to service and detail, a professional shop design and a customer-focused team combined with an incredible work ethic supports their model for extraordinary growth.”

“We sincerely appreciate the recognition from Eastman and the support they provide to our successful dealerships through marketing and sales initiatives,” said Founder, Lonnie Earl. “We are proud of this achievement and remain committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services,” said Greg Earl.
